On June 30, 2025, the Indonesian Government and Germany’s development bank KfW signed a EUR 200 million policy-based loan agreement to support Indonesia’s Affordable and Sustainable Energy Transition Program, or ASET. At first glance, EUR 200 million sounds like a simple investment figure.
