  Wednesday, 19 August 2026   Medan is one of Indonesia’s biggest cities, and like many growing cities, it faces challenges related to the environment and cleanliness. Managing waste, keeping public spaces clean, and creating a healthier urban environment require cooperation from many different sides.   Germany has shown interest in working with the Medan City Government on these issues. A meeting between Medan Deputy Mayor Aulia Rachman and German Ambassador to Indonesia Ina Ruth Luise Lepel discussed possible cooperation, especially in the areas of environmental management and cleanliness.   Mercoledì 19 agosto 2026 Spagna e Indonesia hanno molte opportunità di collaborare, soprattutto nel settore commerciale e degli investimenti. Un'organizzazione che svolge un ruolo importante nel sostenere questa cooperazione è COFIDES, un'azienda spagnola che fornisce supporto finanziario alle imprese spagnole che investono all'estero. Nel 2015, COFIDES ha partecipato al Forum di cooperazione commerciale e per gli investimenti Spagna-Indonesia a Giacarta. L'evento si è concentrato su diversi settori importanti, tra cui energia, infrastrutture, ambiente e trasporti. Anche la gestione delle risorse idriche e dei rifiuti è stata oggetto di discussione.
