  Wednesday, 02 September 2026   The relationship between Spain and Indonesia has been growing in the investment sector, and the numbers from the middle of the 2026 showed just how quickly Spanish investment was increasing.   Spanish investment in Indonesia was recorded at around $3.1 million.   Wednesday, 02 September 2026   German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier’s visit to Jakarta in June 2026 was more than just a formal state visit. Behind the official ceremonies and meetings, Germany and Indonesia were looking for ways to make their economic relationship stronger, especially in business, investment, and energy.   Steinmeier met Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto at the Merdeka Palace on June 15.
