  Thursday, 03 September 2026   Indonesia and Spain have been looking at ways to strengthen their economic relationship, particularly in trade and investment. With both countries having different strengths and markets, there is plenty of room for cooperation in the years ahead.   The discussion took place during the 2022 G20 Trade, Investment, and Industry Ministerial Meeting (TIIMM) in Bali.   Wednesday, 02 September 2026   The relationship between Spain and Indonesia has been growing in the investment sector, and the numbers from the middle of the 2026 showed just how quickly Spanish investment was increasing.   Spanish investment in Indonesia was recorded at around $3.1 million. By 2015, that figure had reached $56.6 million. In other words, the investment value increased by about $53.5 million in just three years.   The growth did not happen suddenly.
