  Tuesday, 11 August 2026   Indonesia is getting another major investment project, and this one is pretty serious. A consortium involving companies from Indonesia, the United States, and Germany plans to develop semiconductor, silica-sand, and advanced glass manufacturing facilities in Medan.   Saturday, 08 August 2026   Indonesia’s new capital, Nusantara, is attracting attention from international businesses, and Spain is one of the countries showing interest. Representatives from Spain expressed interest in cooperating with Indonesia in the development of IKN, adding another international connection to the country’s ambitious new capital project.   The interest came during a meeting between representatives from Spain, Finland, and Indonesia’s IKN Authority.
