But the island has also been looking at ways to develop sports tourism. One interesting idea came from a German investor who explored cooperation with the Bali provincial government to build an international-standard sports stadium.   German investor from the Gerry Weber Sportpark group visited Bali to discuss possible cooperation for the development of a sports stadium.   According to Bali Deputy Governor Ketut Sudikerta, the provincial government had already planned to build an international-level sports stadium on government-owned land in Pecatu, Badung.
