  Wednesday, 16 September 2026   Indonesia has been attracting attention from international companies looking at opportunities in renewable energy. One notable plan came from Germany’s Augustus Global Investment, which announced plans in 2023 to invest $500 million in a green hydrogen plant in Aceh.   According to Reuters, the company planned to develop the facility in Aceh province as part of an effort to produce hydrogen using renewable energy.
