Indonesia’s infrastructure development has attracted interest from international investors, and West Java was once looking at foreign participation for an ambitious monorail project around Bandung.<\/p>\n

In 2019, several companies from the United Kingdom and Spain showed interest in working with the West Java provincial government on the planned mass transportation project. Among them was Basque Trade and Investment from Spain.<\/p>\n

The interest was discussed following the Indonesia Infrastructure Investment Forum 2019 in London. At the time, the West Java government was presenting investment opportunities in transportation and other sectors to international businesses.<\/p>\n

A Project Designed for Bandung<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The planned monorail was part of a wider effort to improve transportation in the Bandung area.
